Spiritually Fulfilling

I've been thinking of those things that make me feel spiritually fulfilled, things that bring into focus that connection that I have to the divine. Since my spirituality has fallen to the way side and other things have got in the way, I hoped that by compiling a list of these things I could better incorporate these things into my daily life.
  • Me time - I value any time that I can look internally and to simply be in the moment.
  • Daily Practice - It's important and fulfilling to have some sort of daily practice that includes morning, evening and meal time prayers, small rituals, Reiki sessions, meditations and etc. I always feel spiritually connected when I can incorporate amounts of time to a daily practice.
  • Tarot - I enjoy reading tarot for others on a regular basis.
  • Writing - I used to journal on a daily basis having separate journals for writing each of these; affirmations, gratitude, poetry, and other experiences.
  • Reading - Reading anything that is of a spiritual nature always inspires me in some way.
  • Painting - I enjoy painting though I am not a professional artist by any means. I often times paint Goddesses or representations of them in abstract.
  • Crafting - I used to make spell boxes, dowsing rods, dream pillows, incense and other things with my hands, but I have not had a chance to for some time.
  • Candlelight
  • Incense and other scents - Nag Champa is one of my favorite scents.
  • Music and chants - Reclaiming has a wonderful cd that always helps me.
  • Paintings and pictures of the Goddess - I usually print out a few pictures of the Goddess in her various forms and spread them around the house.
  • Cooking - Spending time cooking a large meal for my family that everyone enjoys really makes me feel good.
  • Special moments with my husband
  • Special moments with my children
  • Playing with my children and hearing their laughter
  • Getting things accomplished - "You can't do that,"  is a very powerful motivator to me.
  • Reading feel-good stories in the news
  • Helping others - Helping others in need is important to me. I always help out any way that I can.
  • Sunrises and sunsets
  • Moon and star gazing
  • Sister Chats - I miss sitting with a group of ladies and chatting about anything and everything.
  • Fellowship of other Pagans - I sometimes miss the fellowship I had in Kentucky. I do not however miss the drama.
  • Campfires - I love fire scrying but, the warmth of it and just making smores are also very wonderful.
  • Dove chocolate - There is something awesome about dove chocolate. They have little inspiring messages inside, but also the chocolate itself. ;)
  • Walks or hikes in the woods
  • Sitting beneath a tree
  • Rainy nights - Listening to the rain at night helps me sleep, but also gives me that comforting divine feeling.
  • Moments outside of time - Any time that feels out of this world including prayers or ritual.
  • Cleansing baths - Candles, incense, oils and herbs in the tub give me a sacred time.
I'll probably add to this list as time goes on, but those where the things that I could think of initially. My goal is to try to fit at least one or two of these in a day. I hope especially to incorporate my prayers and journaling into my daily practice and progress from there.
